26th/27th Feb - NEC Boat and Caravan Show

Our next night away was when we went to the NEC for the Boat and Caravan show where we stayed with the Caravan Club.

We drove to Birmingham after work on Friday and spent the day at the show on Saturday.

We walked from the site to the show with the thought that we would jump in the transport on the way back.

After a tiring day and loaded up with goods (including a new awning). We made our way to the entrance at the back of the NEC (where we had started first thing) to be told that the transport pick up point was at the back of the NEC where we had just left.

We had to continue on foot, Billy put the awning on his shoulder and off we trudged.

It seemed much further than in the morning and this was because it was a lot further as we took the wrong path back.

We both slept very well that night.

On Sunday we made our way back home, stopping off at IKEA and Cribbs Causeway
