16th March 2010 - Exploring South Devon

We decided to take the day off work for my birthday and took our camper out for the day.
We did not want to go far as we had not explored the area around us. We moved to South Devon in 2006 and have spent the last 4 years updating our house.
We wanted to see where the beaches were so that in the Summer we would know where we wanted to go.

Our first stop was to Bovisand, only 5 miles away. Almost on our doorstep.
Lovely spot but we only stopped long enough to take some photos.

We drove another 4 mile and stopped at Wembury where we could see the mewstone.

Afterwards we drove further along the coast for more photos at Mothecombe and Thurlestone.

We then headed in land to look at a couple of sites.
First one was Dornafield at Newton Abbott - www.dornafield.com lovely site for relaxing.
