We parked up in the car park of the Anchor Inn and walked into Tintern, it started to rain so we popped into a tea shop for a cup of tea, but ended up staying longer than expected whilst we waited for the rain to stop.
We eventually walked back to the camper and relaxed until the evening when we went over to the pub for a meal.
This was the first day of our holiday but as yet we did not where we would end up. We had booked for 3 nights in Cardiff followed by 4 nights in London. We were really looking forward to going to London but the weather forecast was not good. We were undecided whether to go to Northumberland and visit family instead of going to London.
