14th June - Bike Ride to Mermaid Quay

Woke up today and it was a beautiful day, the sun shone all day and then there was Take That to look forward to.  We decided to get the bikes off the back of the van and cycled down the riverbank and along the cycle track into Cardiff.  We saw a swan with her cygnets.

We were soon back at the Millenium Centre and Mermaid Quay.

Mermaid Quay was full of middle aged women, including me!  We stopped for lunch but this time Billy fancied a chinese buffet.

After lunch we cycled back to the van but took a detour past the campsite to see what surrounded us.  We were surprised how much space there was and how green the area was.  Great for picnics etc.

When we got back to the campsite there were a lot more tents/caravans etc. and again a lot of middle aged women.  We watched a couple of people putting up tents and could see they were a bit green at camping. 
We then  relaxed before getting ready to go and see Take That.
